University Shield
 
It was designed by “Lic. Carmen Sousa”, it is made up with  several elements.

An eagle with two heads and the name of Tabasco printed on a band. The “Juchiman” is holding the official shield of our State and in the lower part appears the name and motto of the State University of Tabasco “Universidad Juarez Autónoma de Tabasco”. It is a cultural flashback of our ancestors and prehispanic ethnicities which blend the past, present and future; it represents the students` youth eagerness for the knowledge that our University offers.
