It was created by “Lic Arnulfo López Ramos” who majored in Mass Media and won the Institutional Flag Design Contest called by our University. The shield of the University can be appreciated at the forefront. The two headed eagle stands out for its strength showing superiority and leadership. Before the eagle’s feet there are two laurel leaves intertwined by a ribbon which holds the abbreviation UJAT, term used by the community to refer to this University. It symbolizes the institutional nobility of character, and the victories of its mission as a successful educator of human capital.
All the patterns are printed in white, with the aim of symbolizing neutrality as part of the fundamental exercise of the University and the institutional green color appears in the background.
