SINA XII is an existent space that allow the link among professors, researchers, students, farmers and industry, SINA is the Symposium that aims to show every two years the results and/or progress of the nutritional research on aquatic organisms (fish, shrimp and molluscs).
In this occasion SINA XII will be held in the beautiful Estate of Tabasco, from November 20 to 22, 2013 at the División Académica de Ciencias Biológicas de la Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco. For the symposium are invited renowned researchers of national and international stature who manage projects and offer leading technologies in the world.

We are a group of researchers from different Universities and Research Centers, as well as farmers and commercial representatives that we get together every two years to present results or progress from projects, as well as technological advances in order to built or strengthens the link among the generation of knowledge and its application in productive systems. “STUDY IN THE DOUBT AND ACTION IN FAITH” (“ESTUDIO EN LA DUDA ACCION EN LA FE”) Slogan that represents the Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco (UJAT). Which is part of the División Académica de Ciencias Biológicas (DACBiol) proudly, where will take place the XII International Symposium on Aquaculture Nutrition (SINA).
The DACBiol takes its name in 1989 having its origin in the School of Biology, founded in 1982, with the porpoise of training professionals to solve region problems, although is a young division, it has been strongly consolidated as in its academic personal as in its infrastructure, organization and administration. DACBiol offers Biology, Environmental Management and Environmental Engineer as majors and two masters; Master in Environmental Protection and Engineering and Master in Environmental Sciences and one Doctorate in Tropical Systems Management and Ecology Sciences (DEST). The Cuerpo Academico Biology and Management of aquatic organisms from DACBiol has a research line on aquatic organisms nutrition, this research is developed at the Tropical Aquaculture Laboratory, where activities such as research, production and extensionism are developed.
